Sony is one of the most well known electronics manufacturer in the world. The company launched its PlayStation in Japan in December 1994. Since then it has not only has attracted the Children and teenagers but has managed to grab the attention of people of every age group. It brought different models of PS and all of them were a success in the market. The Video games experience was changed by PlayStation. Sony Computer Entertainment(CSE) promises to bring new gaming experiences to the customers.
More and more people have turned to their cell phones to play games therefore Sony decided to come up with something new and unique to change the gaming experience of the people. In June 2009 Sony announced to come up with a unique motion sensing controllers called PlayStation Move. At the Game Development Conference 2010 the Sony officials called PlayStation Move as the “next generation of motion gaming”.
PlayStation Move includes a sub-controller which features a curved design that pairs with the motion controller and comes with an analog stick and directional buttons which allow users to navigate the direction of the characters and move them where desired. This analog stick functions just like the wireless version of Nintendo Nunchuk controller. PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye webcam to read the position of the controllers. The Eye webcam has a glowing ball on its top which often changes colors.
PlayStation Move is being implemented on the existing PlayStation 3 console. Sony has appealed all the game developers to come up with games which are especially dedicated to PlayStation Move. Looking up to the attractive features of PlayStation Move some major game developers have already announced to support it and they will be releasing 20 games dedicated to this PlayStation. It is expected that the people who love to play PlayStation will experience more accuracy and responsiveness with PlayStation Move.
